Federal judge, citing Trump words against non-whites, blocks removal of Haitians, Salvadorans and others

Trump's posse figured out early on that their evil, xenophobic efforts to remove certain people from this country would need to take less obvious routes as The Resistance came after their initial attempts.  Unfortunately, we continue to learn of new ways they are accomplishing this evil without the involvement of Congress or the light of day.

Biggest Round of China Tariffs Yet Will Hit Consumers, Investors and Small Businesses

Trump has started a trade war with China at the behest of a couple almost entirely unknown advisors.  The impacts are negative to our economy, our business owners small and large, our consumers.... everyone.

Almost half of all Chinese imports into the U.S. are now subject to a tariff, for a total of $250 billion. China has already retaliated with tit-for-tat tariffs on billions of dollars of imported U.S.-made goods, noting earlier this month that trade officials there would not be swayed by Trump's tactics.

Stephen Miller and Trump Admin Cut Refugee Cap Again to Historic Low of 30,000

Republicans' fabricated war on "illegal" immigration is a proxy for their broader mission to eliminate as much immigration as possible, specifically the legal types.  Under our Immigration page you will find numerous examples of this, the most heinous of which relates to our refugee program which used to admit 100,000+ a year and should have been double or tripled but instead is being effectively eliminated.

U.S. is Denying Passports to Americans Along the Border, Questioning Citizenship

THEY ARE COMING FOR AMERICANS.

The Trump administration is accusing hundreds, and possibly thousands, of Hispanics along the border of using fraudulent birth certificates since they were babies, and it is undertaking a widespread crackdown on their citizenship.

Cases identified by The Washington Post and interviews with immigration attorneys suggest a dramatic shift in both passport issuance and immigration enforcement.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Ignores Plea From Diplomats With Children With Special Needs

The concerted effort to destroy the State Department has been ongoing since Trump took office, first under Rex Tillerson and now under tea-party, Koch Brother favorite Mike Pompeo as Secretary of State.  Today, we learn a shockingly evil new one they're eroding our State Department.... through harming children....

Judge Upholds Ruling That DACA Must Be Restored

In our August 15, 2017 post linked HERE, we provided a primer that explained what DACA is and why it exists after President Obama's 2010 DREAM legislation was filibustered by Republicans in Senate to prevent a vote.

On Tuesday, September 5, 2017, Attorney General Jeff Sessions shut down DACA.  He provided lies about these people to justify the move, offered no details of how the program could be wound down, and took no questions (because he has no answers).

Stephen Miller Has a New Friend in State Department and They Want to Cut Refugee Admissions to Almost Zero

Stephen Miller, an terrible person with unthinkable powers has ordered Trump to clamp down on refugee admittances and Trump has gladly obeyed.  President Barack Obama previously set the ceiling on refugees admitted into the country at 110,000 while many had pushed for more.  Howver in 2017, Trump slashed the limit to 45,000. Now these is discussion to push it as low as 5,000... effectively no refugees saved for humanitarian crises. America is an embarrassment.

NYT / NBC: Russian Hackers Appear to Shift Focus to Our Power Grid

Intelligence officials and security analysts say Russian hackers are devoting much more effort toward implanting malicious software in the U.S. power grid than attempting to breach electoral systems.

In March the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI issued a joint alert that Russian government hackers had staged malware and gained access to U.S. critical infrastructure, including energy networks, nuclear, commercial facilities, water, aviation, and critical manufacturing sectors.
