In 2018, health experts warned Trump: putting tariffs on medical products would hurt US preparedness for pandemics. He did it anyway.  

Now, Trump's tariffs are contributing to shortages at the time of a national health crisis.

An alarming unintended consequence of Trump’s misguided trade war with China has suddenly threatened to cripple the US fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The administration’s tariffs on Chinese medical products may contribute to shortages and higher costs of vital equipment at a time of nationwide health crisis.

In mid-February at a meeting with Congressional leaders in Munich, corrupt psychopath Mike Pompeo made a commitment: the Afghan peace deal would NOT require the Afghan government to release Taliban prisoners. Then, the deal at the end of February required them to release 5,000.  Not in exchange for a peace deal even.... just for a week cease fire.

Please note: the Republican Party lost its mind when President Obama released five Taliban guys to get US Army soldier Bowe Bergdahl back home.  Now Trump cuts a deal to release 5,000 Taliban prisoners.

In July 2019, we wrote at length about a sycophant becoming the Director of National Intelligence.  Trump had just nominated Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-Texas).  However, a week latet Ratcliffe was dropped from consideration to be DNI in the face of reports that he misrepresented his record as a prosecutor in terrorism-related cases. 

NOW RATCLIFFE HAS BEEN NOMINATED AGAIN IN LATE FEBRUARY 2020.

Trump is about to propose a budget that leans much more heavily on military... than diplomatic prowess....to deal effectively with global crises.

Trump is threatening 25% tariffs on European autos, supposedly to protect national security.  He has NO RIGHT to impose tariffs as that is up to Congress.  This is a clear abuse of presidential power.  It gets worse: the Republican administration won't release the report supposedly justifying its actions:

The United States asylum policy is to demand children sleep on the streets in Mexico in encampments while tricking them because they're never going to give them asylum. This is pure evil trickery happening on our watch with little awareness and outrage.

The Trump administration is stonewalling Vietnam veterans from receiving the benefits they need to help manage illnesses associated with Agent Orange exposure.

Two years ago, then Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin decided to add three health conditions to the list of diseases eligible for Agent Orange benefits, but White House officials challenged his authority and impeded enactment.... Now tens of thousands of veterans are still waiting.

The cruelty is the point.  Racism, xenophobia, and hatred being implemented by our country.  A stain on the U.S. for all of time.

The Trump administration on Wednesday [11/20/19} began carrying out its controversial plan to deport adults from El Salvador and Honduras who are at the southern border seeking asylum to the US — and send them to Guatemala.  The complicated mechanics of the plan, signed in July, has so far been shrouded in secrecy...where asylum-seekers are not entitled to a lawyer.

Don't become numb to these numbers. More than 5,400 children were separated from their parents.
